This is a placeholder privacy policy for the Ininfer landing page. It describes the personal data we collect through this website in clear, plain language. Replace this text with a final, lawyer-reviewed version before any commercial launch.

1. Who we are

Ininfer ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at https://ininfer.com. You can reach us at privacy@ininfer.com.

2. Data we collect

When you interact with this site, we collect the following data:

  • Waitlist form. Name, email, role, the AI tools you use, your current monthly AI spend, and your biggest frustration. You submit this voluntarily.
  • Contact form. Name, email, and your message.
  • Technical data. IP address, user agent, and approximate region, used for rate limiting, security, and aggregate analytics.
  • Cookies / local storage. We store your theme preference and your cookie-consent choice locally in your browser.

3. How we use it

  • To contact you about the waitlist and the closed beta.
  • To respond to messages you send us.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used — only if you grant analytics consent via the cookie banner.
  • To prevent abuse (rate limiting, spam protection).

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

For visitors in the European Economic Area, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR:

  • Consent for analytics and marketing cookies, which you can withdraw at any time from the cookie preferences dialog in the footer.
  • Legitimate interest for essential site operation, security, and rate limiting.
  • Contract / pre-contractual steps when you submit the waitlist or contact form, to respond to your request.

5. Cookies and consent

We use a consent banner that records your choice in your browser's local storage. Three categories are available:

  • Essential. Always on. Required for the site to function and to remember your theme and consent choices.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, loaded only if you accept. Both services receive anonymized IP addresses where supported.
  • Marketing. Currently unused. Reserved for future use.

6. Third parties

We share data only with the following processors:

  • Supabase — stores waitlist and contact form submissions.
  • Vercel — hosts the website and provides aggregated analytics and performance telemetry.
  • Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — only if you have granted analytics consent.

7. Retention

Waitlist entries are kept until you ask to be removed or 24 months after the last interaction, whichever comes first. Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. To exercise them, email privacy@ininfer.com.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the project evolves. Material changes will be highlighted on the site and, where appropriate, communicated by email.
